Regulation and Contingency Fees

Our public adjuster fees adhere to regulations set by the Florida Department of Financial Service. You can refer to the Florida Statute regulating public adjusters for detailed information.

Public adjuster fees at Base Claims are structured on a contingency basis, ensuring that you pay nothing unless we successfully settle your claim. Our fees are capped as follows:

• For residential, no more than 20% on new (non-state of emergency) or reopened claims.

• For residential, no more than 10% of any claim resulting from a state of emergency declaration within the first year (applicable to homeowner and condo association policies only).

• For commercial claims, percentages may vary.
